Art room
10/17/11 daily photoshoot
In this image, I used the F stop 8. i also used the shutter speed of 1/4. Lastly i used the ISO of 200. If you study the picture, you will notice that the picture is a little dark. You will notice that you will not see all the color of the picture. The 200 ISO made the picture darker than it usually is. |
In this image, I used the F stop 8. i also used the shutter speed of 1/4. Lastly i used the ISO of 400. If you study the picture, you will notice that the picture is brighter than than the picture above You will notice that you will see most of the color of the picture. The 400 ISO made the picture have the perfect color because it matches the f stop 7.1 and shutter speed of 1/4. |
In this image, I used the F stop 8. i also used the shutter speed of 1/4. Lastly i used the ISO of 800. If you study the picture, you will notice that the picture is brighter than than the pictures above You will notice that you will see most of the color of the picture. The 800 ISO made the picture overly dark because it doesnt match the f stop 7.1 and shutter speed of 1/4. |

Macro 10/18/11
In this image, I used Macro. I also used the F stop 7.1, shutter speed of 1/4 and the 200 ISO. If you study the picture, you will notice that the picture is very closed up. It doesn't look like regular take. You will notice that you can see every detail of the picture. Because of marco, it notice every small detail of the picture. |
In this image, I used normal mode. I also used the F stop 8, shutter speed of 1/4 and the 200 ISO. If you study the picture, you will notice that the picture is very closed up. It looks like a normal image since I didnt use Macro. You will notice that you will not be able to see every detail of the picture. Because marco shows the details of the picture. |
Macro eye 10/18/11
f stop 7.1. shutter speed 1/4 with 200 ISO |
7.1 f stop, shutter sped 1/4 400 ISO |
7.1 f stop, shutter speed 1/4 400 ISO |
8.0 f stop and 1/4 shutter speed and 200 iSO |
the 8 f stop and 1/4 shutter speed and 400 ISo Taking close-up pictures of small things is called "macro photography". this image i used the F stop 7.1 and the shutter speed of 1/4 with the ISO in 200. If you look, you will see that the image is like zoom in. You can see every detail of the eye. You can see the color of the eye with the macro. If you notice its normal, you wont see every detail because it's not in macro. With the macro setting on camera you can tell that the camera is able to focus at a very small distance from the subject, but you have to take into account that when you set your camera on Macro mode, your focus point is very small, that's why Macro pictures have a focus on a very small part of the object. For the first image, i used the f stop 7.1. shutter speed 1/4 with 200 ISO. Second image i used 7.1 f stop, shutter sped 1/4 400 ISO. Third, i used 7.1 f stop, shutter speed 1/4 400 ISO. Third picture, i used 7.1 f stop, 1/4 shutter speed 800 ISO. 4th picture i used 8.0 f stop and 1/4 shutter speed and 200 iSO. Last picture i used the 8 f stop and 1/4 shutter speed and 400 ISo |

10/13/11 Exposure
F stop 5.6 Shutter speed 1/250 |
F stop 5.6 Shutter speed 1/640 |
F- stop 5.6 Shutter speed 1/25 Exposure is the process of capturing light with your camera to produce an image on film or a digital sensor. In photography there are different exposure. There is correct exposure, there is underexposed, and overexposed. Correct exposure is when it's not too bright or not too dark, Underexposed is when the image is too dark. Overexposed is when the image is overly bright. If you analyze the picture, the top image is the correct exposure. In the correct exposure, i used the 5.6 F stop. I also used 1/125 shutter speed. The image in the middle is the underexposed. In that image i used the 5.6 F stop. I used 1/640 shutter speed. Lastly, the last image is overexposed. In that image I used the 5.6 F stop and 1/25 shutter. All the images is in 100 ISO. As you can see, the correct exposure isn't too bright or too light, while the overexposed is overly bright, and the underexposed is overly dark. |

10/3/11 Exposure
In this image, I used the f/8 and 1/40 shutter speed. If you study the picture you will notice that the picture is not too dark and its not too bright. With f/8 you can see every detail of the picture. The picture with the f/8 has the perfect color. As you can see the picture isn't over exposed or under expose. But it's the right exposure. |
In this image, I used the f/7.1 and 1/40 shutter speed, If you analyze the picture, you will notice that f/7.1 is a little bit different that f/8. They are different because in f/8 the picture isn't bright at all. While in the image that used f/7.1, the image is a little brighter than the f/8. As you can see, f/8 and f/7.1 are different but they aren't too different. |
In this image, I used the f/6.3 and 1/40 shutter speed. If you analyze the picture, you will see that f/6.3 is different from f/7.1 and f/8. They are different because you can see that the image that was used with the f/6.3 is a little brighter than f/7.1 and f/8. In my opinion, the f/6.3 is the best because the color is just right, |
In this image, i used the f/5.6 and 1/40 shutter speed. If you study the picture you will notice that this picture is a little brighter than f/6.3. You will see that the brightness is letting you focus on the picture more. |
In this image, I used the f/5.0 and 1/40 shutter speed. If you analyze the picture, you will notice that f/5.0 is a little bit different than the other f stop.. They are different because in the other f stop the picture isn't bright at all. While in the image that used f/5.0, the image is a little brighter than other f stop. As you can see, f/5.0 is different but they aren't too different from f/5.6. |

In this image, I used the F stop 4.5 and 1/40 shutter speed If you analyze the picture, you will notice that f/4.5 is a little bit different than the other f stop.. They are different because in the other f stop the picture isn't bright at all. While in the image that used f/4.5, the image is a little brighter than other f stop. As you can see, f/4.5 is different but they aren't too different from f/5.0 |
In this image, I used the f/4.0 and 1/40 shutter speed If you analyze the picture, you will notice that f/4.0 is a little bit different than the other f stop.. They are different because in the other f stop the picture isn't bright at all. While in the image that used f/5.0, the image is a little brighter than other f stop. As you can see, f/4.0 is different but they aren't too different from other f stop |

Rule of thirds
Reflection: On September 19, 2011, we went outside to take pictures,. We went at the back of the school and also the front. We took at least 18 pictures so we will be able to pick the top 10 pictures and apply the rule of thirds. After tking the pictures, we applied the rule of thirds in order to know where the picture is focus on. As you can see, I learned a lot from doing the rule of thirds. I learned where the picture should be focus on. I learned how to focus the camera. |
